About this class
In this pottery course, you will dive into the world of creative work with clay and design your own piece of ceramic, crockery or utility ceramics - without any previous knowledge. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn the basics of pottery and will be guided step by step in implementing your ideas.
Look forward to an inspiring break from everyday life, which focuses on creativity, deceleration and shared experiences. All materials and tools are available so that you can concentrate fully on your work.
In the end, you will have your own favorite piece in your hands - a personal unique piece and a lasting memory.
What you’ll do in the class
- Greeting over favorite drinks and a joint introduction to the pottery course
- Introduction and basics of pottery in plate technology
- Independent design and molding of ceramic pieces using plate technology
- Production of individual favorites, e.g. utility ceramics or tableware — there are no limits to creativity
- Support and personal guidance throughout the creative process
- Glazing the finished workpieces after molding
- Drying phase of approx. two weeks
- Firing the ceramic in the oven
- Collection of finished, burnt unique items after completion of the process
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is aimed at adults and young people aged 14 and over and is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners. No previous knowledge is required, as all basics are taught step by step.
At the same time, the course offers enough space for their own ideas so that participants with experience can also develop their skills. It is ideal for anyone who enjoys working creatively with sound and wants to treat themselves to a relaxing, inspiring break from everyday life - whether alone or together with friends.
