In this glass lamp workshop near Nuremberg, you will design your own Tiffany-style glass lamp and get a practical insight into a traditional craft. You work with real glass, develop your own design and implement it step by step — from the initial ideas to the finished lamp.
What you’ll do in the class
At the beginning, you will receive an introduction to materials, tools and basic techniques. You then cut your pieces of glass yourself, adapt them to your design and put them together. In the next step, the individual parts are prepared using the Tiffany technique and finally soldered so that your personal lamp is created. You will be accompanied and supported throughout the process so that you can work safely even without previous knowledge.
