About this class
In the “Back to the Roots” workshop at the Neanderthal Museum in Mettmann, you will embark on an exciting journey through around four million years of human history. In the midst of authentic scenery and under expert guidance, you will experience first-hand how our ancestors lived, hunted and survived.
Find out how groundbreaking the invention of tools was for the development of humankind — from the first hand axe to more complex tools. Become a Stone Age craftsman yourself by making your own flint knife — just as our ancestors did.
The workshop is a unique experience for groups, companies or associations — ideal as a team building event or joint trip. In addition to solid knowledge, it offers lots of fun, interaction and a new perspective on our origins.
Bookable from March to November. The price is the group price for up to 20 people, so only one ticket has to be purchased.
