About this class
In this drawing workshop, we combine portrait drawing with artistic freedom: You bring a photo of someone you know — whether girlfriend, partner, family member or celebrity — and use it to develop an expressive, abstract portrait with charcoal and chalk.
The aim is not a realistic image, but a personal, emotional presentation with free forms and abstract elements. The person remains recognizable — but creative lines, alienation and soft transitions create a very unique artistic interpretation.
