Discover your inner artist in the beautiful city of Hamburg!
During our 2 hour acrylic paint workshop, you will explore different techniques of creating abstract art paintings. Depending on the medium used, you will experiment with dripping, dotting, speckling, color field painting and other types of abstract art. All materials will be provided; such as brushes of different sizes, sponges, a palette knife and much more. You will paint on a 30x40cm cotton canvas. Although acrylic paint dries fast, a couple of dryers will be available so that your masterpiece is ready to go at the end of the evening!
You will be welcomed with a surprise long drink specially prepared for this event. During the experience, you will try three different types of delicious craft beers and get to hear about their origin, ingredients and founders. Finally, you will taste the specialty of the house that they are known for. Water will be available pro bono, as well as diverse snacks. In case you want to consume additional drinks, or if you fall in love with some beers you have tried, you are very welcome to purchase them at the bar!
Whether you’re an experienced artist or an amateur, liquid inspiration and high quality materials will be by your side to make sure you have an amazing experience and start your week charged with fresh creative energy!
How does this activity work?
We will meet at “Omnipollos Hamburg” - a vibrant craft beer spot in the colorful and creative city quarter Schanze. After a welcome drink, the host will show you all the materials that can be used to create your unique painting, such as different brushes, sponges and spatulas, stencils, tape and similar. The artist will demonstrate several art styles and finally help you start creating. The participants will then embark on a journey into the world and history of craft beer by tasting several beer styles from diverse countries. Snacks and water are provided pro bono; additional drinks and pizza can be ordered throughout the event. With the artist on hand to guide and assist, you'll enjoy a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. At the end of the workshop, you'll take home your very own masterpiece!
