Steps of the tour
- Day 1: Hotel pickup in Salzburg, guided walking tour of the UNESCO Old Town, free time to explore, return to hotel.
- Day 2: Drive to the Lake District, visit Hallstatt village, museum, bone house, lakeside scenery, Sound of Music locations, return to hotel.
- Day 3: Choice between Werfen ice caves (with cable car and guided walk) plus Fortress of Werfen with falconry show, or a full day in Berchtesgaden with Alpine lakes and salt mines. Each day approx. 8 hours, hotel return included.
