Connect people through coffee
Coffee is more than just a drink — it is the perfect medium for bringing people together. We are Timon and Tobi, the founders of Spektrum in Munich's Glockenbachviertel. As a hotel specialist from the upscale bar scene (Timon) and a trained event technician with many years of café management (Tobi), we focus on hospitality and experience. Specialty Coffee has inspired us for over twelve years, but what really drives us is the interpersonal aspect.
We use this passion to create spaces where people learn, laugh and grow closer together as a group. The name Spektrum stands for the entire variety. From the most diverse people who come together at our tables, the complex flavors of the bean to the creative experiences that we design.
Coffee Playground & Lab
Our central space combines modern design with retro space-age elements. Minimalistic, yet cozy. For groups of up to 12 people or mobile directly at your company, we create an interactive environment that offers a coffee playground for beginners and advanced users to explore. You can try out a variety of hand filters yourself using our equipment library. At portafilters, from Sage to La Marzocco to Decent Espresso and top mills from Mahlkönig, Comandante, Niche,... every exercise is an experience. At the heart, however, is our coffee freezer with over 40 types of coffee from all over the world, which are just waiting to be tasted together.
Aha moments & unique group events
We deliberately refrain from classic frontal lessons. With us, there is no pressure to perform, but to try things out together and strengthen your own gut feeling. Whether it's a barista workshop, latte art, coffee cocktails or creative formats such as “painting with coffee”: Our experiences strengthen cooperation. Especially for companies and private groups, we offer tailor-made formats such as the “Team Coffee Challenge” (our coffee Olympics), which playfully promotes team spirit.
On request, we will perfectly round off your event with catering, a cozy “coffee or cocktail gossip” to round off your event or individual goodie bags so that you can remember the day with pleasure.
