Kunstgut Krahne: creative workshops in Lehnin-Krahne Abbey

Martina Breyer and Lutz Raschke acquired the Krahne art property in March 2016 and have been operating it ever since. Martina Breyer has been an artist for over 40 years and her studio is located in Kunstgut Krahne

When we discovered the old manor house of the von Rochow family in 2015, we found our personal place of longing.

With a sense of historic preservation, careful care and attention to detail, we created the work of art.

Since 2018, the Kunstgut has been a place where people come together to experience, share and enjoy art, culture and cuisine. It serves as a meeting place for contemporary art, a place for leisure, creativity, inspiration and exchange.
Kunstgut Krahne is a lovingly renovated, listed old manor house dating from 1898. It is nestled in a blooming seasonal garden that Martina Breyer has lavishly laid out. The garden features, among other things, park-like structures, blooming borders and a herb garden.

Martina Breyer's studio and several gallery rooms are located on the ground floor of the manor house.
The ensemble is complemented by four lovingly renovated holiday apartments, which have been available since August 2021.
The courses/workshops carried out by us are aimed at a number of participants of 6 to a maximum of 12 participants.

The workshops cover a wide spectrum — from painting to textile art (e.g. shibori, batik, felting) to paper design. They are also suitable for beginners and teach special techniques in the field of art and textile art. The courses are characterized by individual support and harmonious interaction.

The art object sees itself as a place where you can work wonderfully creatively and practically.
