Haki Ceramics is a Berlin-based studio founded by interdisciplinary artist Sümer Sayin Kaden. Combining contemporary artistic practice with ceramic techniques, the studio offers a space where creativity, craftsmanship, and experimentation come together. Sümer’s background in sculpture and installation art shapes a unique teaching approach that encourages participants not only to learn ceramic techniques but also to explore their own creative language through clay. The mission of Haki Ceramics is to make ceramics accessible, inspiring, and deeply engaging, whether for beginners discovering clay for the first time or for participants seeking a more personal artistic experience.

Located in a “Denkmalschutz” artist studio building in RAW-Gelände, Haki Ceramics provides a real, welcoming and intimate studio atmosphere designed for creativity and focus. The space is equipped with professional ceramic tools, 1 pottery wheel, handbuilding materials, and kiln access. The studio comfortably hosts up to 6 participants, allowing for personal guidance while maintaining a relaxed and social environment.

Haki Ceramics offers weekly handbuilding workshops that combine technical instruction with artistic exploration. Private wheel throwing classes are available by appointment, alongside occasional special workshops with unique thematic focuses. Participants can explore handbuilding, wheel throwing, sculptural experimentation, and creative freedom in a supportive and inspiring environment. Each course emphasizes both skill development and personal expression, creating a memorable experience for beginners and experienced participants alike.
