About this class
Treffpunkt Kunst is a monthly creative community in my studio in the heart of Lübeck's old town.
The series invites you to try out new techniques, get creative and get to know new people. Together with friends from Ukraine and Argentina, we are creating an open, international space for exchange and encounter.
At this meeting point, you will discover the fascinating technique of cyanotyping, a historic photographic printing process. UV light is used to create unique deep blue works of art.
All materials are ready for you:
- special cyanotype paper
- photosensitive solution
- Dried flowers, leaves, plants and feathers
- Negative and transparent templates for experimenting
At the beginning, we'll show you the process step by step. You then create your own compositions, illuminate them with UV light or sunlight and wash out your works. In the end, you will take home several pieces of art you have designed yourself.
You don't need any previous knowledge, just curiosity and the joy of trying things out creatively.
