About this class
Spend an unforgettable hen party (JGA) full of creativity, colors and shared experiences. In this acrylic painting workshop, each participant creates her own work of art on canvas and creates a very personal memory of this special day. Whether in my cozy studio in Lübeck's old town or at your favorite location — a creative experience awaits you with plenty of time to laugh, exchange ideas and create together.
My studio is located in a historic courtyard in the heart of Lübeck's beautiful old town. Surrounded by old brick buildings and an inspiring atmosphere, you can leave everyday life behind and focus entirely on your creativity. On request, I can of course also come to you with all materials — home, to a hotel, an event location or to your company.
It is painted with high-quality acrylic paints on canvas. Acrylic paints impress with their bright colors, versatility and ease of use — perfect for beginners and advanced users. Together, we discover different painting techniques, how to use colors, composition and brushstrokes. I will guide you step by step so that each participant creates her own individual work of art — without any previous knowledge.
You can choose from a variety of motifs — such as flowers, landscapes, abstract art, marine motifs, or modern designs. You are welcome to tell me your wishes before the workshop. If you have a specific theme, a color palette or an individual theme for your JGA, I will prepare suitable templates and inspiration specifically for your group. A joint group theme or personalized ideas for the bride are also possible at any time.
During the workshop, there will be enough time to exchange ideas, laugh, take pictures and celebrate. Relaxed music and a creative atmosphere not only create unique works of art, but also wonderful memories of your day together.
All materials — canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, easels, aprons and other painting supplies — are provided by me. At the end, each participant takes home her own work of art as a personal reminder.
The workshop is not only suitable for hen parties, but also for birthdays, groups of friends, family parties, team events and private parties. Together, we create a creative experience that connects and is remembered for a long time.

What you’ll do in the class
We start the workshop with a warm welcome and a short round of introductions. This is how we get to know each other and create a relaxed atmosphere in which everyone can feel at home. I will then present the course of the workshop and give an introduction to the world of acrylic painting. You will learn which materials we use, how acrylic paints work and which simple techniques help you to create a beautiful work of art even without previous knowledge.
Before we start painting, I'll show you various motifs, sample pictures and inspiration templates. You can choose from a variety of themes — such as flowers, landscapes, the sea, abstract art, modern motifs or seasonal designs. These templates are for inspiration only. Of course, you can also implement your own ideas or send me a design of your choice before the workshop. I would be happy to prepare suitable templates specifically for your group. On request, I can also design individual motifs, color concepts or personal ideas for the bride for hen parties.
After that, you have enough time to decide on a motif, choose colors and plan your first ideas on the canvas. I'll help you find the right composition and answer all questions before we start painting together.
In the practical part, I will guide you step by step through the entire painting process. Together, we transfer the motif onto the canvas and then work with various acrylic painting techniques. You will learn how to use brushes, color gradients, light and shadow, contrasts, structures and the correct use of various painting tools. Throughout the workshop, you will receive individual support so that each participant can find their own pace and develop their personal style.
It is not about painting a perfect picture. It is much more important to enjoy the creative process, to try out new things and to be proud of your own work of art. That is why there is always enough time during the workshop to experiment, ask questions and exchange ideas creatively.
In between, there is plenty of time to laugh, talk, take pictures and enjoy. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can create memories together and spend a special day together. Music and a creative environment make the workshop an experience that goes far beyond painting.
Finally, we put the final details on your pictures, sign the finished works of art and — if you want — take souvenir photos together. Each participant takes home their self-designed acrylic canvas — as a unique reminder of a special day.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced learners alike. No previous experience is required. Everything you need — canvas, high-quality acrylic paints, brushes, easels, aprons and all other materials — is provided by me. All you have to do is have a good mood, curiosity and a desire for a creative day.
