Class description
In an emergency situation or a deliberate minimalistic trip to remote areas, plants can sometimes be the only source of food. But which wild plants actually provide energy? And which poisonous mis-up partners are there? After all, we don't want to end up like “Supertramp” from “Into the Wild.” The course is led by survival expert and author Manuel Larbig.
Course content:
In this Berlin survival course, the main focus is on the usability of wild plants as emergency food. In principle, a large part of European flora is edible. But very few plant species give us more energy than we use when collecting and preparing them. In addition, there are also some very toxic mis-up partners.
The course covers the following topics:
- Common, edible and energy-bearing species
- Toxic mistinguishing partners
- Dangers such as parasites, etc.
- Theoretical description of preparation methods without aids such as pot, etc
How does this activity work?
Our survival course in Berlin (herbal emergency food) always starts at a point that is easy to reach by public transport. The tour ends there, even if it is not described otherwise.
In this course, Manuel takes 6 hours, which is enough to gain a first insight into the local flora and the possible uses. On the one hand, we walk a fixed route and stop again and again to address specific topics. There is also enough time to discuss topics that are of particular interest to you.
Our tours take place at different locations and on different dates, which you can select during the payment process.
After the course, you will receive an email with the plant list of the species we have found together, as well as a link to the plant profiles.
Who should definitely take part?
Suitable for closed groups of up to 50 people.
