Enjoy an exquisite wine tasting at the Peter Lauer winery in Ayl, Rhineland-Palatinate. The family-run winery is famous for its exceptional Riesling wines, which come from 100% vegan production.
As part of the guided tasting session, you will dive into the world of Saar terroir, taste 7-10 different white, sparkling and dessert wines and learn exciting background information about the region's special growing conditions.
You can then explore the vineyards individually and enjoy the spectacular views of the Saar Valley.
Dates for wine tastings for 2 people or more on request.
On August 9 and 10, 2025, there will be a public event where you can taste our wines and explore our winery. Tickets can be booked for €20 per person.
How does this activity work?
- Welcome to the winery and introduction to the philosophy of the house.
- Guided tasting of 7-10 wines, including white, sparkling and dessert wines.
- Explanation of the characteristics of the Saar region, the terroir and vegan production.
- Delivery of a card for individual walks in the vineyards.
