About this experience
Weave your own bottle bag or vase — a creative evening in the Viennese studio
Get away from everyday life, away from the screen and into working with your hands. In this workshop, you will weave your own bottle bag or vase from recycled cotton strings step by step, without any previous knowledge.
You will learn the basics of three-dimensional weaving and turn individual strings into a sturdy, functional and individual bag or vase. You choose colors, patterns and details yourself. The result is a unique piece that accompanies you in everyday life.
The workshop takes place in a cozy studio in Vienna's 2nd district. In small groups, people weave, chat and design, with a glass of prosecco or a soft drink. The relaxed atmosphere invites you to switch off.
In the end, you not only take home your homemade bottle bag or vase, but also the good feeling of having created something with your own hands.

What to bring?
A desire to try it out. Everything else is already prepared for you.
What is included?
All materials, recycled cotton strings in various colors, tools and instructions, and a glass of prosecco or a soft drink. You take your finished bottle bag or vase home at the end.

How does this experience take place?
- At the beginning, we will briefly introduce ourselves and you will get to know the other participants
- There is a short introduction to weaving: What is possible and what techniques are there? I show finished bags and vases as inspiration
- You decide what your object should look like: colors, patterns and size according to your taste
- That's when it starts: I'll show you the process step by step using my own pattern and guide you through the entire weaving process
- When the weather is nice, you can also work in the garden
- While weaving, there is time to chat, slow down and enjoy, with a glass of prosecco or a soft drink
