You will learn in a practical and understandable way:
- Basics of perspective drawing — how you represent space, depth and spatial relationships on the surface (e.g. vanishing points and eye level)
- Lining & hatching techniques — creating paths, shadows, tonal values and structures with different types of strokes
- Light & shadow — how light sources, shadows and tonal nuances make your drawing look vivid
- Composition & image structure — how to arrange elements sensibly and make your image idea clearly visible

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction
Short round of introductions and an overview of course content, materials and working methods.
- Basics of perspective
Introduction to simple perspective principles (eye level, vanishing points, presentation of space) with practical drawing exercises.
- Lining and hatching
Get to know various hatching techniques to represent volume, structure and tonal values.
- Light and shadow
Basics of light sources, shadows and light/dark contrasts for the sculptural representation of forms.
- Composition and observation
exercises for the conscious perception of proportions, forms and image composition.
- Practical drawing phase
Application of the learned basics in your own drawings with individual instructions and feedback.
Conclusion and joint review
Brief, appreciative discussion of the resulting work and space for questions.

The workshop is suitable for anyone who really wants to learn how to draw better, regardless of whether you're just starting out or already have some experience. No previous experience is required.
