About this class
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of macramé art and design your own wall hanging step by step. After a brief introduction to the most important nodes, you can immediately take action yourself and try out which techniques you enjoy the most.
We work with high-quality, thick cotton rope in natural color, which gives the work a clear, timeless appearance. If you want, you can also incorporate coloured ropes to give the wall hanging a very personal accent. The size of the finished piece is usually between 30 × 30 and 50 × 50 cm — depending on which knots and rope thicknesses you choose.
The workshop is ideal for beginners and requires no previous knowledge. I will guide you throughout the process and give tips to help you reach your goal safely. In the end, you will have a unique, handmade piece of work in your hands — a unique piece that reflects your own style and decorates your home.

We start with a short introduction to the most important knots, and then you create your design — you decide on the level of detail, the thickness of the rope and the color combination.
