About this class
In this workshop, you will learn step by step how to create a modern wall painting with nails and colorful cotton threads. First, you choose a theme: Either use one of the templates provided or you bring your own idea. Then hammer nails into your wooden board (usually approx. 25 × 25 cm) to mark the contours of your design.
That's when the creative part begins: With threads of different colors, you tighten, wrap and combine lines and layers until your picture takes shape piece by piece. Whether geometric patterns, playful motifs or abstract designs — there are no limits to your imagination.
All materials such as wooden boards, nails, hammers, tools and a wide range of yarns are available. The workshop is beginner-friendly and is suitable for anyone who is in the mood for a creative break. At the end, you take home your homemade thread painting — a unique piece that is guaranteed to attract attention.
