About this class
We design and bind individual books with a decorative opening on the spine. Each book is different and unique. Individual layers of old book pages, calendar sheets, magazines and various papers are inserted together and sewn together. This binding works completely without glue. The result is wonderful to use as a sketch or travel journal, or even for recipes and notes.
Details to remember
What to bring to the class
Feel free to bring old calendar sheets, books, magazines to recycle and cut up (approx. DIN A4 size)

use of bookbinding tools (cutter knife, steel ruler, cutting mat, folding leg)
pencils
various papers and cardboard
bookbinding thread, needles, scissors
drinks (tea, water) and small snacks
