At the beginning, we research the basics of our voice instrument and then immediately use it in a variety of sound constellations — all as a team. When we listen and sound together, we become even more team players.

Where does the singing workshop take place in Berlin?
By appointment, the workshop will take place either in a studio in Berlin or at your desired location (office, event location, etc.). Travel expenses and studio rental by arrangement.
About Marieke and Voice! Vocal Studio
After studying at the MUK Private University of the City of Vienna (diploma for solo singers and diploma for singing teachers), I studied for a total of more than 15 years with renowned bel canto teachers Laura Salti, Wally Salio and Stefano Anselmi (including 8 years locally in Italy). As a result, I have acquired profound knowledge about the liberation of the voice and its anchoring in the body.
As a singer, I have participated in opera productions and given many concerts, including in Germany, Italy, Austria, Scandinavia and Poland. I continue to work as a professional singer - and have also been working as a vocal coach for 16 years.
What you’ll do in the class
- The workshop lasts 3 hours
- After arrival and a welcome round, two parts of the workshop await you with a short break in between
1st part:
- A practical introduction to the physiology of the voice
- Posture and movement exercises to influence breathing and voice
- Try out sounds together or tune in to a simple song
Short break
2nd part:
- Raising awareness of group sound through activities such as sound exercises, circle songs or simple songs
- Final round to relax and round off the workshop
