About this class
On our photo walk in Hildesheim, we want to combine exciting things. We will walk and experience the very beautiful, historic streets, gardens and churches... of the city and explore and discover them at the same time with our cameras. Because they are all really photogenic: these most beautiful corners.
Our photo walk leaves enough time for every participant to answer individual questions and requests!
What you’ll do in the class
We will have a short presentation and introductory session, check our level of knowledge... and then start taking pictures: manually and/or with an aperture preselection. There are really many motifs in Hildesheim: from architecture to cityscapes or things/details to street, everything is included. If you want to bring your own “topic”: Yes! Otherwise, I also have a few small tasks for you. We can then discuss questions about camera technology, the basics of photography and some aspects of image design in detail and, if necessary, individually.
Along the way, we will address these aspects of image design in landscape and architectural photography:
- See motifs and implement ideas, “develop” photos
- work with depth of field and proper focus
- Practical image design (rule of thirds, perspectives, excerpts, foreground/background)

The photo course is suitable for anyone who is interested in photography, significantly improves their knowledge and skills and wants to become Hildesheim fans.
