About this class
In this creative holiday sewing course in Nuremberg, children aged 10 and over and adults dive into the colorful world of sewing.
In a creative atmosphere, you will learn everything about operating a sewing machine in this sewing workshop during the Bavarian summer holidays. Discover various stitches and uses using a household machine as well as the materials and tools to be used. In doing so, you will implement what you have learned in small sewing projects. At the end of the holiday week, you can use the sewing machine, know the tools and fabrics and understand cuts/instructions.
You will sew at least one cloth bag, a pencil case and another project in group consultation. And have lots of fun sewing!

What to bring to the class
2 colorful cotton fabrics 100 x 140cm, materials for the project on days 3 & 4 by arrangement. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine.
What is included in the class?
Sewing machines, cuts, tools and sewing threads are available.
Teamevents and groups
What you’ll do in the class
Day 1: Sewing machine license and making a shopping bag
Day 2: We sew a pencil or cosmetic case
Day 3-4: We will sew a project of your choice by group arrangement
All projects are independent of size and include many sewing techniques that are also needed to sew clothes.
In between, we take small, creative breaks to recover from small and big efforts.
