About this class

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of arranging flowers. It creates a conscious connection to nature and promotes peace, concentration and creativity. In this workshop, you will gain an insight into the basic principles of ikebana and learn about the special design of the modern Japanese Sogetsu School.

With expert guidance, you can create your own arrangements of branches, leaves and flowers. You will learn how to create harmonious and expressive compositions through form, line, space and material.

As a certified ikebana teacher from the Japanese Sogetsu School, I will teach you authentic Japanese floral art in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. No previous experience is required. The focus is on shared creative experiences, the joy of designing and discovering new ways of expression with natural materials.
