What can I expect from the 3-day pottery course in Berlin?
This 3-day course is intended to teach you all the steps to create simple vessels on the potter's wheel.
The course consists of 2x windscreen training & 1x glazing course.
You will get an insight into the processes, as well as basic knowledge for glazing and firing.
In the first part, we turn the clay on the potter's wheel. This is a special experience that requires a bit of patience and practice.
The 2nd part deals with the finer processing of the resulting pieces and in the third part, after extensive explanation, you glaze with over 100 glazes and various techniques. The result is usually 2-4 pieces, which you can pick up 14 days after the last appointment. All material and burning costs are included in the course.
Who is the 3-day pottery course in Berlin suitable for?
This course is good for you if you want to get to know how to work at the hub, you don't need any special requirements. If you have already had some experience shooting, it is always worthwhile to deepen your skills by taking a further course. The course is therefore suitable for beginners with and without previous knowledge.
If you want to continue practicing after the first part, you can use the open workshop hours (5 days/week) flexibly and complete and glaze additional pieces in the next parts of the course (up to 5 turned and fired pieces are included in the course).
If you're looking for a nice place to continue working on the pottery wheel in perspective, you can also come regularly.
