I am Claudia Specht, lingerie designer and tailor from Wiesbaden. In my Tulle & Spitze studio, everything revolves around beautiful and tailor-made lingerie.

After studying fashion design, I deepened my knowledge through training as a lingerie designer and tailor and founded my lingerie workshop Tüll & Spitze in Wiesbaden. The fine craftsmanship with delicate fabrics, lace and precise cut construction captivated me 30 years ago. What began as a passion has become a sought-after niche: Customers from all over Germany and beyond appreciate my personal specialist advice, the exclusive atmosphere of my studio and my expertise, which I bring to every course and every custom-made product.

My studio — my location

My studio is located at Akazienstraße 8, in 65187 Wiesbaden — a place where creativity and comfort go hand in hand. The studio is divided into a showroom, a course room and a material and cutting room. All rooms are comfortably furnished so that customers and course participants feel completely at ease - without walk-in customers, simply in a protected and private atmosphere. The rooms can accommodate up to 6 participants in courses and up to 10+ people at private events and hen parties. Small enough for an intimate, personal atmosphere, big enough for memorable group events.

My courses — what makes them special

In my lingerie sewing courses, I share my expertise that has grown over three decades. The courses are aimed at different sewing levels and build on each other:

• Basic lingerie sewing course — the perfect introduction to sewing lingerie: You sew panties or a simple shirt made of elastic materials.
• Weekend bra sewing course — intensive and focused, for anyone who already has experience with elastic fabrics: You sew your first really well-fitting bra.
• How to design lingerie — for anyone who wants to dive deeper into technology: In this weekend course, I'll show you how to draw patterns based on your own or customer measurements.
• 1:1 coaching - intensive course for individuals such as fashion students, start-ups or anyone who would like to have specific questions about lingerie sewing answered, would like to develop special designs, etc.
• Lingerie Retreat — a special intensive experience for anyone who wants to take their lingerie sewing skills to the next level.

What makes my courses stand out: All participants receive personal attention and benefit from my many years of experience as a designer and tailor. Real traditional crafts are taught here: not just “sewing down” patterns, but understanding the fit, material and construction.

Team and private events

Tulle & Spitze is also the perfect place for special group events such as hen parties, lingerie evenings or team events.

Lingerie evenings — Discover the world of tailor-made lingerie in a relaxed atmosphere: I inform interested women about the world of well-fitting lingerie, explain what really matters when it comes to fit and material, and provide show models to try on. An evening that is fun, informs and inspires.

Closed sewing courses for tailors — I offer exclusive courses for tailors and sewing studios who want to expand their knowledge in the area of lingerie construction and elastic fabrics.

What makes an event at Tüll & Spitze different from others is the combination of a private atmosphere, cozy rooms and professional advice and course management. You are among yourself, in a lovingly furnished studio, far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and from impersonal seminar rooms. I am personally there with all my experience and make sure that all participants feel comfortable, learn something new and go home with finished lingerie and new inspirations.
