Natural soap workshop in Stuttgart

I am Claudia, the founder of Studio C. In my studio in Stuttgart-West, I make natural soaps by hand, in small batches and without any synthetic additives — I develop every recipe myself.

It all began with my love for things that are created by hand. I've always been fascinated by how much care and time goes into a handmade product — and at some point I wanted to create this feeling myself. Natural soap was the perfect starting point for me: a craft with real results that you can touch, smell and use.

With Studio C, I want to show that natural soap doesn't have to be rustic or old-fashioned. My mission: to translate traditional craftsmanship into modern, minimalistic design — for people who value honest ingredients without sacrificing aesthetics. In my workshops, I share this knowledge and the joy of doing it yourself. For a few hours, you take time for yourself, dive into a new craft and take a piece home at the end.

Location

My studio is located on Hasenbergstraße in Stuttgart-West, in a small factory in the backyard. The place is deliberately reduced and personal: a workplace with everything needed for soap making — high-quality fats and oils, essential oils and various types of clay for coloring and decorating, plus casting molds and tools for practical work.

There is space for up to four people, so the atmosphere remains close and concentrated instead of anonymous. It can get a bit cool in the workshop in winter — so I recommend dressing warmly. It is precisely this imperfect, informal character that makes the place stand out: not a sterile studio, but a real work space in which people are currently working.

Classes and events

In my workshops, you don't get ready-made instructions, but real background knowledge: We talk about raw materials, essential oils and what makes a good natural soap. You then make a soap block of around 900 grams yourself — you choose clay and fragrance and create your own result, which is later divided into 8 to 10 pieces.

The groups are deliberately kept small, a maximum of four people per appointment. This leaves time for questions and I can really answer every participant. All recipes come from my own development — so you're not learning just any method, but the one I also use to make my own products.

A workshop with me takes around two to two and a half hours — but the experience is basically longer: Your soap then needs around two weeks to mature before it is ready. The special moment therefore does not come right at the end of the course, but only at home when you unpack your final result.

Team events and private events

For team events and private events, you can book my workshop exclusively — for groups of up to four people. Instead of sitting together with other participants in the course, you will then be among yourself, and we will coordinate the date and process together.

This is suitable for small teams who want to make something different from the usual lunch or after-work drink, as well as for private events in a small group. What is special is that in the end you not only take home a shared experience, but also a self-made product — something that lasts, instead of just an afternoon that you remember.
