Pencil Drawing Workshops: new ways of seeing

About Me & My Philosophy

Hi there :) My name is Shiran, and I am a figurative artist, art historian, and enthusiastic drawing instructor living in Berlin. I believe drawing should be available to all and can be truly life-changing if you give it a chance.

I have been drawing since childhood and teaching drawing workshops for the past sixteen years, both privately and for various institutions in Germany.

I love showing people that drawing doesn't require talent and that it is a skill you can learn like any other. It mainly requires curiosity and a willingness to start seeing things differently.

I am here to guide you, teach you techniques, and show you new ways to see and experience the familiar.

Location & Materials

The workshops are held in a sweet, cozy room in Mitte, where we can gather up to eight people. I am also available to come to a location you choose.

I am providing all the fine-art materials needed for practicing and drawing (including special graphite pencils, drawing boards, paper and more). All you need to do is come with an open and curious mind.

Courses & Events

I believe that drawing is more than simply learning a technique. Drawing what we see requires us to start seeing things differently. We do that by understanding our habitual ways of seeing and thinking, and developing new skills and perspectives.

My workshops are a place where you won’t only learn how to use your hands and a pencil, but also how to look, see, and experience the familiar in a new way.
You might not become an artist in three hours, but you will get the tools to get you going and a fresh look at yourself and your environment.

Team Events & Private Events
