I am Marcel Schuler from Gauting near Munich. I was at the forefront of every new music format: CD, MiniDisc, MP3, one of the first music servers in the living room. And then I had access to all the music in the world and I didn't want to listen to it anymore.
A friend said: You need a record player. He was right. With the old devices, the desire came back; at the end there was a tape machine. Since then, I've known that it's the somewhat cumbersome things that touch you. I am bringing the plant that I stopped working with myself to you today.
The plant comes to you
I don't have my own location. Music undisturbed is mobile: I come to you, to the office, the conference room or the living room, throughout Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.
Included: an AKAI GX-630D from 1976, two amplifiers (Marantz 2235B and Kenwood KA-5700) and two pairs of speakers from Canton. Assembly and setup take around an hour. They only provide a room of 20 m² or more, seats for everyone, two sockets and light that can be dimmed. Up to 25 people per run.
What makes the evening special
An entire album in one go, from the audio tape. The cell phones are visible in a box. A band doesn't have a track list, so there's no skip and no side.
The process, around 120 minutes:
- Arrive, cell phones in the box
- A short story of the album told by the same band
- The ribbon is threaded. It only starts when it is silent
- The album runs through 43 to 65 minutes without a word
- A quick round with a question: Where were you just now?

For teams and private events
For companies: a team event without a program. No one has to do anything, decide or contribute. Suitable for a team day, offsite, health week or the evening program of a conference. No team preparation, no catering required.
For private events: the one album that belongs to your shared story belongs without interruption. For a milestone birthday, an anniversary, a wedding anniversary or an evening with friends. Also as a voucher.
