I am Marianna, an artist from Magdeburg.
I have been working with acrylic painting, mixed media and various textured materials for many years. I am constantly developing myself and discovering new ways of expression and presentation. For me, art means much more than a finished picture. It is a process that slows down, surprises and often opens up new perspectives. Head free art - The name is program
Head free art is not a classic painting course. It is a creative break in my studio — without templates, without evaluation and without the claim of having to paint perfectly.
With my head-to-head workshops, I would like to give you a space in which you can leave everyday life behind you for a few hours, not about learning to paint perfectly or reworking a given motif. Instead, personal works are created that reflect one's own moment.
Many participants come with the idea: I can't paint at all. That is exactly why they are in the right place for me. With Kopf-frei-Art, you don't need any previous knowledge. There is no evaluation, no pressure to perform and no comparison. You work at your own pace and I will accompany you with my experience as an artist.
I know it all too well myself, my mind is spinning, the to-do list is getting longer and time for yourself often falls by the wayside. That's exactly why I want to give people a place where they can just let go for a few hours.


Location - my studio
My head-to-head art workshops take place in my own real artist studio in Magdeburg - not in an event location or a classic course room.
My own works of art are also created here. That's also where you work. You use the same materials, tools and techniques that I work with myself. This allows me to use my own work to show you how certain structures or techniques are created and answer your questions immediately. It is never about imitating. I will only support you if you want to be accompanied at that exact moment.
My studio offers enough space for creative work, without hustle and bustle. Lovingly prepared workplaces, high-quality canvases, acrylic paints, textured materials, spatulas, brushes and many other materials are available.

Depending on the workshop, I consciously work in small groups:

• Trial period: up to 8 people
• Classic period: up to 6 people
• Theme time: up to 6 people
• Individual time: 1 person - appointment on request

This limited number of participants allows me to respond individually to each guest and create a relaxed atmosphere.


Courses & events
My workshops are deliberately different from classic painting courses or paint & sip events.
You don't paint from a template and no one creates the same picture in the end. Instead, you develop your own work step by step — intuitively, freely and without pressure of expectation.

The focus is on:

• creative letting go,
• the joy of experimenting with colors, materials and tools,
• individual support,
• small groups,
• working in a real artist's studio,
• enough time for your own creative process and
• Moments of pleasure in a relaxed atmosphere.

You can choose between different formats:

• Trial time — two hours of creative break
• Classic time — four hours of intensive work with colors, structures and materials,
• Theme time — changing creative priorities and seasonal inspirations
• Individual time — exclusive individual creative break in the studio

Each workshop ends with your very own work of art. You not only take home your own work of art, but also the good feeling of having once again consciously given yourself time.


Team events & private events
Yes - I offer both team events and private group events on request.
Whether it's companies, groups of friends, birthdays or other special occasions — together we create a creative experience that unites.
In contrast to classic creative events, the focus here is not on the perfect result, but on the shared experience. Everyone creates their own work, yet a connecting moment is created that is often talked about for a long time.
For companies in particular, creative team events offer a special opportunity to leave everyday working life behind, promote communication and take on new perspectives.

Here too, the following applies:

• no painting experience required,
• small groups,
• individual support,
• including colors, structural materials and various tools to try out,
• authentic studio atmosphere and
• Each team member takes home their own work of art.
