Get to know Flamingocat
Behind every good label, there is at least as exciting an origin story. It is more than obvious that the Leipzig label FLAMINGOCAT not only conceals true love for cats, but also many wild fantasies of its founder. As a trained dentist, Alexandra Pauly said “bye dental chair” and “Hello camera light! ”. Instead of working in her own practice, she ends up in the RTL lunch magazine “Punkt 12” and presents craft tips in her own do-it-yourself section. “Doesn't work, doesn't exist! ”. The own studio in the south of Leipzig will follow in 2014. Self-made brand, of course. Against the backdrop of a historic butcher shop from the 19th century, the first geometric pieces of flamingocat typical of Flamingocat were created. Each piece is lovingly sanded and painted by hand. And because everyone wants them, the doors of the small Kreativwerkstatt have been opening week after week for new DIY events.
