The Elbe, “Lys” — the Scandinavian word for light — and a touch of Hamburg: That's how ElBlyS was created.
Hi, I'm Janina — founder of ElblyS.
Elblys is more than workshops — it is my creative signature of Nordic clarity, maritime lightness and designs with character.
I lovingly handcraft handmade decorations, individual gift ideas and colorful 3D designs — sometimes simple and timeless, sometimes colorful, cheeky and with a wink.
For me, ELBLY's sea is more than just decoration: it's about things that beautify spaces, connect people and make small moments special.
I would also like to pass on exactly this feeling in my workshops. Whether casting, painting glass, designing candles or other creative techniques — everything is created step by step and at your pace. I will accompany you in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere and in small groups.
From simple designs to special effects, there are almost no limits to your creativity.
The workshops are currently taking place in a stylish shop in Hamburg-Lokstedt — quietly located and easily accessible via the subway (Hagendeel), with parking facilities in the area.
From July 1, the workshops will move to Hamburg-Schnelsen. There, too, the location is well connected, including via bus line 5, with parking facilities in the area.
You can also expect a small selection of drinks and snacks on site.
It's not about perfection, but about the joy of trying things out, switching off and that one
feeling: I did that myself.
In the end, you not only take home your own unique piece, but also a short break that lasts.
