Get to know Die Weinschmeckerin

Even as a child, I told my grandma “Water is for washing and not for drinking.” Back then I preferred a juice spritzer.

I prefer a good glass of wine today. I did not follow in my grandma's footsteps; she was the “milk mogger” from Böckingen and, after the war, roamed the streets with her mule and sold milk. She also gave them away very often. She had a big heart.

My heart beats for wine and so I began wine trips in Germany, Europe and overseas at an early age. I discovered so many things during my travels and became more and more curious. I got into conversation with a lot of different people. I liked that. Before that, I studied and worked in real estate. I've left it all behind me.

That's how I completed an apprenticeship at the State Educational and Research Institute for Fruit and Viticulture in Weinsberg to become a Baden-Württemberg wine experience guide with great fun. Then I was also named Tourism Hero 2023, which gave me even more impetus. I completed my international WSET3 training course with distinction (I'm really proud of that) and I can also call myself an Assistant Sommelier.

Come along, I'm looking forward to seeing you!
