I'm Amelie, the founder of Cake Affairé — a place for creative cake art, stylish workshops and special experiences. What began as a passion for aesthetics, craftsmanship and enjoyment has now become my own brand. With a sense for colors, shapes and high-quality ingredients, I not only create cakes, but also moments that stay in the memory.
With Cake Affairé, I've created a boutique workshop that combines enjoyment, creativity and design — without any previous knowledge. I believe that you can express yourself, even through what you create with your own hands. In my workshops, we combine design, enjoyment and experience with attention to detail, modern techniques and a touch of elegance.
My passion for cake art has developed over time, out of the desire to combine aesthetics and taste and to make small works of art out of simple cakes. Today, this has resulted in a concept that allows people to take a creative break from everyday life.
The workshops take place in the beautiful Waldhof Hackhausen in Solingen — a fantastic, almost fairytale event location that is already known for weddings and special events. The stylish setting of nature, elegance and peace creates the perfect atmosphere for creative experiences.
The workshop room is furnished to a high standard and offers space for small, personal groups of around 4 to 10 people. Each workplace is fully prepared so that participants can get off to a creative start right away.
In my courses, there are various theme workshops where each cake is individually designed — from modern color concepts to art-inspired designs such as a Monet water lily workshop. This creates a unique, personal result every time.
In addition to the fixed workshops, it is also possible to organise private events directly with customers on site. To do this, I bring the complete setup and make the workshop mobile within a radius of up to 15 kilometers. The price is calculated individually depending on the package and scope.
