About this class
In this sketching workshop in Wiesbaden, you will learn to draw creatively with pencil and paper and to perceive motifs more consciously. Together, you'll try out unusual drawing exercises, work with your non-dominant hand and discover blind drawing. A particular focus is on R mode, in which you focus specifically on lines, shapes and distances. The two-hour workshop combines creative drawing with reflection, feedback and a final mini vernissage. You don't need any previous knowledge. Openness, curiosity and the joy of trying things out are decisive.
What you’ll do in the class
- Live drawing on a flip chart as an introduction (15 min.)
- Getting to know: drawing with the non-dominant hand (20 min.)
- Warm-up: blind drawing an object or template (20 min.)
- R mode part 1: Line drawing after template, feedback and reflection (30 min.)
- R mode part 2: drawing the same template upside down, feedback (20 min.)
- Mini-vernissage and reflection at the end
