About this class
Experience a unique wine tour through Cologne and dive into the fascinating history of the city. From Eigelsteintor to Nippes, this tour takes you in the footsteps of the Romans, the Middle Ages and the Prussian period. During the approximately 4 km long walk, you will learn more about the industrial age and the influence on today's knick-knack. Selected wines and delicious small dishes await you at various historic locations, which round off the evening perfectly. For non-wine drinkers, soft drinks are available at every station.

What you’ll do in the class
- Meeting point: Eigelsteintor north side (tree in front of the ice cream parlour)
- Start with an introduction to the history of the Eigelstein
- Stop at various historic sites (Roman Military Road, Eigelsteintorburg, St. Agnes Church, Fort X)
- Explanations about the history of knick-knacks and industrialization
- 7 glasses of wine in 3-4 restaurants

The minimum age for the event is 18 years.
