The course is suitable for anyone who wants to let off steam creatively. Previous technical knowledge is not necessary, but is an advantage.
About this class
In this tufting workshop, we use a towel machine and virgin wool to produce a framed tufting picture measuring 40x40 cm. You decide on the design and shape yourself!
In this workshop, every participant is taught the basics of toweling. The workshop takes place over two days, so you can carry out all steps from the initial idea to the finished rug yourself.
Duration: 4 hours
What you’ll do in the class
- The basics of toweling/Q&A session (30 min)
- Create a design (if you haven't already brought it) and record it on the stretched fabric (30 min)
- Tufts, tufts! (2 hours)
- carpet shaving (30 min)
- Glue the back and place tufted artwork in the frame (30 min)
