Class description
A creative corporate event of a special kind: Together, we take three hours for your team and the sound. This pottery course in Munich will teach you everything you need to know about pottery. In addition to the varied team event, all participants will have a great memory in their hands at the end: their own pottery work!
Pottery course for groups: What is the process?
- When making pottery, you have the opportunity to feel the meditative and relaxing effects of clay and get to know different areas of pottery at the same time
- We make part of our charming workshop in Fürholzen near Neufahrn in the north of Munich ready for modelling, where you can make pottery with plaster molds, wood molding, tools or even completely freely anything that comes to mind
- We design the other part of the workshop with turntables so that you can also try out pottery with the electric turntable. At the turntable, everything that is round is made of clay:
- tumbler
- bowls,
- shells
- and sometimes even completely individual creations.
- We use the last 30 minutes to paint the finished pieces
- We use engobes, i.e. tone-based paint, which can also be applied to unfired clay
- Following your pottery event, your pieces will stay with us to dry and be fired
- After the first firing, we glaze everything transparently and burn again
- The result is high-fired, food-safe, dishwasher-safe and frost-proof ceramic in an individual design
If necessary, you can also work on a joint piece (e.g. a bird bath or a fruit bowl for the company). Both areas are located in interconnected rooms, so that there is a team spirit and joint work.
What is included in pottery?
