About this class
Our enchanting turntable courses are now finally available for the little ones too! In this course, we work on the electric pottery wheel in small groups of 4 — 6 people. Each participant sits at their own disc and shoots in a cozy atmosphere for about 1.5 hours. We use the rest of the time to paint and clean.
Of course, we will support you with this! The result is small cups and bowls and sometimes even very special round vessels. After turning, the pieces that are still wet are painted. We dry and burn all works of art before you can receive them.

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and brief introduction to turning on the potter's wheel
- Centering the sound, supported by our instructors
- Turn small cups, bowls or other containers independently
- Painting the works with nature-based paints (engobes)
- Final drying and firing of the works
Who is the class suitable for?
This course is aimed at children between 7 and 11 years of age who want to work creatively with sound.
