About this experience
Would you like to escape from everyday life for a few hours and create something with your own hands? In our pottery course in Kempen, you will learn the art of pottery without a turntable.
When building by hand, the focus is on the direct connection to the material — we use techniques such as beading, plate or thumb printing techniques to create organic and individual shapes.
Whether it's a cozy tea cup, plate or bowl: We will guide you step by step from the first scoop of clay to your finished unique piece. In a relaxed atmosphere, we'll show you how to let your ideas take shape.
How does this experience take place?
After an introduction to the basics of manual construction, you will immediately start your individual project. To give your work a personal touch, we then decorate the raw material together with colorful engobes. After the course, your pieces need some rest: They are carefully dried for approx. 3-4 weeks and fired twice for you until they are finally ready for you to pick up in our studio.
