What you’ll do in the class
The Pittermanns Destillerie team welcomes you to our cozy tasting room with a fresh beer from the “brewery”.
- Distillery owner Peter Esser will guide you through his distillery.
- We will then taste two whiskies, gins and genever from Pittermanns Destillerie.
- To get you in the mood, there is craft beer from our own brewery “Braustelle”
- We serve small snacks and water for the tasting.
- Finally, there is a liqueur from Pittermanns Destillerie.
After the welcome, we head to the production rooms of Pittermanns Destillerie and explain to you how we produce our whiskey, gin and genever. We are happy to answer your questions about the exciting topic of the history and production of whiskey, gin and genever.

Who is the class suitable for?
Pittermanns Destillerie
In the still young Pittermanns Destillerie, which was only founded in 2016, unique, innovative craft spirits are handcrafted from juniper. Since 2020, we have been distilling all spirits in our new location in Cologne's Bilderstöckchen district.
