Newly revised 3-hour watercolor crash course
Would you like to try out watercolor painting but don't know exactly where to start? Then this workshop is just right for you.
At the same time, we all know that mastering watercolor is not at all easy. That is exactly what makes this technology so exciting.
In this course, you will learn the basics of watercolor painting step by step — accompanied by a professional artist. From my own artistic practice, I'll show you how you can safely get started with this special technique.
This course is designed as an intensive course in small groups and takes place in an exclusive small group. This allows me to respond individually to all participants and guide you step by step.
We experiment with water and pigments, discover typical watercolor effects and develop a feeling for color gradients and transparency.
In doing so, we address the following questions, among others:
• Which materials are really useful to get started?
• What should you pay attention to when choosing paper, brushes, and paints?
• Which exercises help to develop a feel for the technique?
• How are typical watercolor processes and effects created?
Finally, we create simple floral or natural motifs using the particular lightness of watercolors.
At the end, you take home your own small watercolor painting or a self-designed postcard.
