Explore Würzburg directly with your smartphone while playing the city rally “The Physicist - Light and Shadow”. Solve puzzles at famous landmarks, dive into the story about physicist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen and win the game. As soon as you book the game, we'll send you all the necessary information via email.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

You will first be introduced to the story about Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen in Würzburg: 1895 in Würzburg: Physicist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen makes a groundbreaking invention in his laboratory! He calls them “X-rays.” With the help of an electron tube and a fluorescent screen, he is able to take an interior picture of his wife's hand. Shortly after, his invention becomes a blessing for the sick. And not only that: People find all sorts of quirky applications. But something strange happens soon after: Some researchers develop mysterious diseases! Will you be able to solve the X-Rays puzzle?

Work in a team (1-6 people per group) to solve the case Are you more than 6 people? Then we recommend that you divide yourself into several small groups, otherwise experience has shown that not all of them are well integrated into the game. You can also test which group is the fastest!

Puzzle your way through the story from station to station using our city map. Solve the puzzles at the most beautiful sights in Würzburg and at important points and learn more about Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen in Würzburg. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations of the city rally. As a result, they are not listed here. At the stations, clues must be sought to solve the puzzles. This game focuses on the story and puzzles, not on details of the historical history of the sights and the city.
