About this class
The course is ideal for spending a few unforgettable hours together with one or more favorite people and creating a wonderful piece of jewelry at the same time. The model is made from a block of wax, similar to the work of a sculptor. Anything is possible: rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. With this technique, organic shapes are particularly possible, as the piece of jewelry is thought of as a whole and is not assembled from several parts.
What you’ll do in the class
This course is divided into 2 parts. In the first part, you sculpt your piece of jewelry in wax. The wax model is then cast in silver. The 2nd course date will be arranged on site.
In the second part (4 weeks after modelling), the casting is cleaned, eyelets may be soldered and, if necessary, gemstones are set. The interface is then designed.
The course lasts 3 hours each day (6 hours in total).
Who is the class suitable for?
For anyone who wants to experience how a piece of jewelry is made and/or for spending time with loved ones. There is no age limit, but an age of at least 15 years would be desirable.
