About this class
Would you like to dive into the world of goldsmiths and make a unique piece? Then you've come to the right place!
In this course, you will learn one of the most important basic techniques of goldsmithing: sawing. Under my guidance, you will make a necklace, sawn from a sheet of silver. Earrings are also possible. From transferring the desired motif onto the silver sheet, to sawing, soldering and cleaning. Implement your own design and let your creativity run wild.

- Clothing that can get dirty, sturdy shoes, scrunchies or clips to fix loose hair

- The material consumption will be billed at the end of the course: for a motif measuring 2.5 x 2.5 cm, there will be an additional material cost of approx. €65.00 (as of 15.2.2026, prices include VAT).

What you’ll do in the class
At the beginning of the course, we will transfer the final size of your desired design onto the silver sheet. Then it's time to sow out. Small (under 1.5 x 1.5 cm) and geometric (constructed with a ruler) motifs are challenging. We then solder eyelets etc. and clean the piece of jewelry.
The course lasts 6 hours plus 1 hour lunch break - please spend it outside. Nearby you will find numerous restaurants with various cuisines.
Who is the class suitable for?
For anyone who wants to experience how a piece of jewelry is made and/or for spending time with loved ones. There is no age limit, but an age of at least 15 years would be desirable.
