About this class
This is a workshop using water-based resin for people who want to learn how to laminate with fiberglass or simply pour a beautiful leaf. This workshop is about the very important process of laminating materials. It can be used in a range of material applications, but we will be working with water-based acrylic polymer known by many names such as Polymer Gypsum, Jesmoninate, Acrystal, etc.
It is essentially a high-quality gypsum binder and the liquid component is a water-based acrylic resin dispersion. We will explore the aspects of the material by creating a print of a sheet of paper. By the end of the course, you will have a cast sheet and will know exactly the sculptural process of laminating.
