About this class
Tapas, also known as pinchos, are the little things that make an irresistible meal in Spain. Served hot or cold, the recipes are based on the specialities of the respective region where the tapas meal — tapeo — takes place.
The name tapas supposedly comes from sunny Andalusia, where sherry is produced and likes to be sipped outdoors. For Spaniards, they are lucky makers. Small, appetizing, sophisticated. If you too are in the mood for a tapas feeling, please: “Vamos a tapear” — “Let's eat a bite”.
In this class, we prepare the tastiest tapas and pinchos using original Spanish recipes. The wonderful blends of typical local spices, fruit and almond aromas, sherry and pear wine round off the taste. Because when everything good comes together, the senses are happy too.
