About this class

Tapas, also known as pinchos, are the little things that make an irresistible meal in Spain. Served hot or cold, the recipes are based on the specialities of the respective region where the tapas meal — tapeo — takes place.

The name tapas supposedly comes from sunny Andalusia, where sherry is produced and likes to be sipped outdoors. For Spaniards, they are lucky makers. Small, appetizing, sophisticated. If you too are in the mood for a tapas feeling, please: “Vamos a tapear” — “Let's eat a bite”.

In this class, we prepare the tastiest tapas and pinchos using original Spanish recipes. The wonderful blends of typical local spices, fruit and almond aromas, sherry and pear wine round off the taste. Because when everything good comes together, the senses are happy too.

Wir waren am Samstag beim Tapas Kochkurs mit Rosi und waren begeistert. Rosi war sehr unkompliziert und hat vorab mit uns die einzelnen Gerichte durchgesprochen. Dann ging es in die Praxis und wir haben warme und kalte Tapas zubereitet. Rosi war immer ansprechbar und hat uns bei der Durchführung unterstützt. Der Nachmittag verging im Flug und das gemeinsame Essen mit Rotwein war der krönende Abschluss.

We went to a tapas cooking class yesterday. An all-round successful event. The recipes were super delicious and preparing the food was a lot of fun. Rosi always looked over our shoulders, was always there to answer questions and gave lots of good tips. With lots of fun - Rosi always has a catchy saying on her lips - we “conjured up” a wonderful tappa buffet together. We will definitely come back again. Thank you so much for an unforgettable afternoon!
