About this class
Get to know the traditional kintsugi technique in Hamburg and find out why repaired ceramics in Japan are considered something special. In this workshop, you will receive an introduction to the history and philosophy of Kintsugi and implement the first steps yourself. With decorative metal powder, you create your own exercise piece that you take home with you. The course combines traditional crafts, creativity and mindful work.

Because of the curing time required for the urushi paint, you will not complete a full repair in this workshop.
