Without weirs or ships, you glide with the current through a special natural landscape of species-rich riparian forests and wet meadows. With a bit of luck, you'll spot kingfishers or black kites. The boat tour combines pure freedom on the water, enjoyment of nature and Bavarian joie de vivre. Along the way, it's worth taking a break in the lakeside beer garden before the paddling tour near Weltenburg Abbey ends.

- Start of the canoe trip in Vohburg, meeting point by appointment
- Brief introduction to the tour and behavior on the water
- Getting into an inflatable boat or canoe
- Paddling on the free-flowing Danube without weirs and shipping traffic
- Glide with the current through riparian forests and wet meadows
- Observing nature with a bit of luck: kingfishers, black kites and other Danube floodplain animals
- Route across the Hundertwasser Tower from Abensberg
- Along the way, a lakeside beer garden is ideal for a relaxing break
- Continue towards Weltenburg
- End of the paddling tour near Weltenburg Abbey
- Once in Weltenburg, you can visit the Asam church and enjoy the good “Weltenburger Klosterbier” with a snack in the beer garden.
