The Upcycled Leather Jewellery Workshop in Berlin is a hands-on creative experience where you turn leather rescued from old Berlin armchairs and sofas into your own unique jewellery.
I'm Caroline, a French silversmith with 15 years of experience, and I'll guide you through every step in a relaxed, small-group setting.
No experience needed — just bring your curiosity.
What you’ll do in the class
The session runs 2 hours and takes you through the full process from start to finish.
You'll begin by getting inspired — browsing designs and materials to find your direction. From there, you choose your design: work from your own idea or pick one of the ready-made models.
Then it's hands-on: you'll design, cut and shape the leather, and make your own hooks, jump rings, and connectors from metal wire. Caroline guides you through every step, adapting to your pace and your choices.
You leave with 1–3 finished pieces — entirely your own. Old jewellery or personal items are also welcome; bring them along and Caroline will see what works on the day.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is open to everyone. Whether you've never made anything with your hands before or you already love crafting, you'll find your footing here. The session is fully guided and designed so that anyone — at any level — can create something they're proud of.
Sessions are held in English. If you need help in French or Spanish along the way, that's covered too.
A great experience to give yourself or someone else. Come alone, come with friends — either way, you'll spend time with others in a relaxed setting where making things together does the rest.
Private events are also available for birthdays, hen parties, and team events — and can be held entirely in English, French, or Spanish.
