How does this experience take place?
After your arrival, we greet you warmly and introduce you to our alpacas. You will learn interesting facts about their origin, their nature and how best to approach them. You will then be given an alpaca — or you can choose one for yourself.
Before you start, there is a short briefing on how to safely guide the animals. That's when your hike starts: It takes around 1 to 1.5 hours to relax through nature near Dortmund. You can experience the alpacas at their calm pace, take short breaks and enjoy the view.
During the tour, there is enough time for questions, photos and direct contact with the animals. Finally, we return to the starting point together, where you can say goodbye to your fluffy companion in peace and quiet.
This special time with alpacas gives you relaxation, joy and many small moments that will be remembered.
Who is it suitable for
Our alpaca hike is ideal for anyone who likes to spend time in nature and loves animals. Whether as a family, a couple, a group of friends or simply to relax alone — this experience provides peace, joy and deceleration.
Children aged 6 and over can join the hike accompanied by an adult and experience the alpacas up close. From the age of 12, children can even drive an alpaca themselves when accompanied by an adult.
The experience is suitable both for beginners without animal experience and for true nature fans. You should be able to move safely on uneven roads, as the hike takes you over field and forest trails.
