What you’ll do in the class
- Greeting by sommelier Ute Albers with a refreshing welcome champagne
- Introduction to wine sensory: learning the basics of wine tasting
- Tasting of 10 different international wines (white, rosé and red)
- Imparting knowledge about winemaking
- Overview of the most important grape varieties and wine regions
- Learn to interpret wine labels correctly
- Explanation of the relationship between taste and smell during wine tasting
- Practice-oriented exercises to identify personal taste preferences
- Bread and water to neutralize taste buds
- Between tasting rounds: information on wine regions, grape varieties and wine styles
